I’m thrilled to see these two dahlias coming back to life again. I started their tubers early and have already taken four cuttings from My Sunshine to create four new plants. Nana’s Favorite is still working on the first, but I’m hoping for more soon.
February 7th, lots of sprouts emerging! 🌱 Such joy in seeing these little green shoots. 🌿 Wine Eyed Jill has already gifted me with four new cuttings! 🌸 Last year, she graced the garden as one of the most beautiful dahlias there, and now her legacy will continue to bloom this year. 🌼
Cuttings from the early sprouts have commenced, and I’m using water bottles to maintain humidity for optimal rooting. I also experimented with two cuttings in cups, but thus far, no discernible difference has emerged. The joy lies in discovering what methods yield the best results! 🌱🌿🌼
